Duration | 3s |

Remarks | I don't know what this was honestly. At first I thought it was an airplane or helicopter with a trail of light but it was too low in the sky and then it split up into the sky/trail and stayed lit. flying across from the direction of the pacific ocean towards the inland. (Laguna Beach towards Dana Point, CA). There was no sound. And it lasted longer - and seemed much closer, bigger and brighter than a shooting star. Never saw anything like this in my life. Crazy |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | It was very bright. Looked like it had a long tail of bright light that exploded behind it after a few seconds. No sound |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | At first it looked like it broke off into 3+ pieces at the tail with the ball of light continuing onwards. That's why I thought it was an airplane. But this was no airplane and it seemed bigger than a comet too but who knows. |
