Remarks I was driving West on Indian River Blvd. in Edgewater, Fl. early Sunday morning after sunrise (approx 7:55 am) when I saw in my area of vision through the windshield what appeared to be a fairly large comet shaped or elongated teardrop shaped object. It seemed to be mostly bright neon green colored including the tail and had a white hot glowing look to it. I seem to remember it looking whitish around the edges of the ball portion of the object. It seemed fairly close and low in the sky. It appeared to be moving from the South to North and seemed to be descending. It disappeared from my view below the treeline to the Northwest of where I was driving. The sun was shining brightly at that time and there were no clouds in the sky. It was a beautiful clear morning. This was one of the most unusual, amazing and beautiful things I have seen in my life. (I\'m 58) I\'ve seen a meteor shower before and all that I saw then was tiny streaks across the night sky that appeared to be very far away. This was very different. It seemed really close to me; close enough to see details of the object, but I really don\'t have any idea what distance it was from me. For what it\'s worth; I think that it was unusual to see something like this in the daytime, too.
