| Remarks | I am an airline pilot for FedEx. Last night I was the captain of Fedex flight 105 from Miami to Memphis, which was a Boeing 767. We were just West of the West coast of Florida, SE of Tallahassee at 36000 feet. When I first saw the object it appeared out my left cockpit window behind my left should and slightly high. At first, I thought it was another airplane just a few thousand feet above us with very very bright LED lighting. The intensity diminished as it moved from south to north in direction. For a period of time, I still thought it was another airplane that was on fire, but realized it was fragmentation from a meteorite or space debris falling away from the object. It continued moving in a northern direction while changing to an orange color before disappearing in an orange flash Approximately 30 degrees above the horizon at about out 11 o’clock position in relation to the nose of the airplane. |
