Happened a couple days ago same street around 8pm. It was small orange flash shaped like a cup. Rounded at the bottom and it was farther up in the north sky. Me and my 10 yr old saw but heard nothing.

I dud not see a ball. I saw a huge flash in the north horizon as bright as lightning and as wide as my street. It lit up my whole street.
