Remarks | This is not the first time I have observed what appeared to be a bolide. The first time (and I also reported the first sighting to this list--maybe in Sept 2009? or 08?), I witnessed a wide white streak that ended in an explosion moving outward irregularly from an epicenter. However, this current time, I only saw the fragmentation stage, and this time, it was in what looked to be a completely linear fashion, so the object seemed to be disintegrating with fire as it continued to streak across the sky. |

Remarks | I actually saw only the fragmentation stage, so it looked like debris from something exploding in the air in a clearly linear trajectory. The streaking disintegrating object was fiery red, with irregular edges. |
