Reports Report 29c (Event 29-2020)

Observer
Name Josh F
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks This seemed quite low in the sky, almost as if there could be pieces on the ground somewhere. It lasted long enough I was almost able to pull my phone from my pocket to take a picture. I saw a similar sighting about a month ago around the same time frame, but it was going from North to South and was a much larger flash.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks It seemed rather close in the sky above me. It had a streak trail of light then a big light blue flash followed by a crumbling trail of light fragments until they burned out. It was so close I would not be surprised if there are fragments on the ground somewhere.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Once the large flash took place, you could see it break into small light fragments and crumble apart until they burned out.
