| Remarks | I wasn't looking at the sky when the object first appeared, but it was so bright that it immediately caught my attention as it travelled across the sky from the west. I see shooting stars quite often as I spend a significant amount of time on the beach at night during the summertime, but I have never seen anything as large, or bright, as this. |
