I was at an event in Turner Park & facing north. It was noisy and there were lots of Christmas lights in the trees. I spotted the bright meteor & watched it continue for
about 3 seconds. It was clearly visible through the trees. At the end it broke into 2 pieces.

In the last roughly 1/2 second that I observed it (about 1 or 2 degrees of travel) the object appeared to break into 2 pieces.
