Reports Report 6659c (Event 6659-2019)

Observer
Name Jenna M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I've seen many meteor showers, plenty of planes, satellites, planets. This was NOT like any of those. It looked so red/orange/gold, and it was so bright and SO long! It was one streak. I don't think it was a burning plane because of how high up it still was when the light died. I think a burning plane would have kept burning and would look smokey? It was dark outside. This one was so very bright. I'm struck.

Remarks The trail broke... So the front half was still burning, and the second back half still glowed as it died. I'm not sure if this is what you mean by fragmentation.
