Remarks I could see there was a tail effect - the bright white light looked almost like a tear drop shape (but sideways). It disappeared into ocean cloud. I first observed it above land but when it went behind the cloud it was over the Pacific Ocean. This was at dawn - the sky had a slight pink (rising sun) and silver appearance. The object was very clearly visible
