Meteor was observed from my backyard in Stockton. Light pollution is present but the object was very bright. Distant ashes and sounds were observed. Unsure of terminal location or impact if any. Member and president of the Stockton Astronomical society and university of the pacific.

Small distant roar followed by three to four terminal booms. Coincided closely with the flashes.

Remarks
Glowing like a firework glitter stream. Blue white, slight green initially, the trail lasted only 5-8 seconds but was persistently bright. Trail faded in three bright flashes. Similar to a magnesium flare.
