Reports Report 6134o (Event 6134-2019)

Observer
Name Andrew B
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It appeared to be as long as the moon from top to bottom but thinner than the moon. It kind of had a glow to it as the moon does on a cloudy night. Light yellow with maybe some light orange tint. Seemed to go almost vertically down but not near the horizon. I was playing with my son sitting up from laying down about to point out to him how bright the moon was tonight. For a second I thought I was seeing things. I said look but it only lasted between 1-3 seconds and he thought that I was playing tricks. The time is approximate, it was between 6:58 and 7:02 as a best guess. The tail didn't seem to taper off much, it seemed as thick from top to bottom and I couldn't make out any distinct features of something like a rock the was on fire. It was a quick flare. I think that's everything, just a thick fiery yellow line down the sky.
