| Remarks | I saw a massive meteor flying across the early morning sky. It traveled from the North-East corner of Winnipeg (beyond the perimeter highway, towards Libau) to the far South end of the city in a matter of five seconds. The meteor was bigger than a full moon and was glowing white. The meteor would have traveled at least 70 km in a matter of seconds, judging by the distance in the sky. The meteor was so big that there must be meteor rock debris located in the fields beyond the south perimeter highway near highway 59 or near highway 75. |
