Was as bright as a firework but going from top to bottom in our field of view thru our car windshield. We were driving on I-66 eastbound. I have seen shooting stars from the perspective of a campsite along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon but this was several times bigger and brighter with a downward trajectory.
