Remarks I was driving my car north on 28th Street in Boulder and glanced west towards the Rocky Mountains when I saw it. Couldn't take my eyes off the road completely but it was a fireball with a trail of orange flame (I think).

Remarks I saw a piece break off from the fireball's trajectory halfway through the 2-3 seconds I saw it.
