Reports Report 1379bl (Event 1379-2012)

Observer
Name Crispin H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Stunning sight! Great vantage point from near the top of the town in Stirling on clear night - angle was very low and fireball was at last sighting going behind houses and then glimssed again in gaps. Really long slow passage across the sky. Start orientation from my position was slightly obscured but my timing is accurate as stopped to check my watch. Be really interesting to know if this (or related breakup) made it across the Atlantic and was the same object seen from SE Canada / NE USA a couple of hours later!
