Reports Report 5156f (Event 5156-2019)

Observer
Name Tara S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This was huge and looked very close. It had a bright orange and yellow tail. The fireball was bright turquoise blue/green. It made an arc in the sky moving from right to left and burned up just above the tree line. I am 59 years old and have seen a lot of meteors during summer nights in the Sierra Nevada mountains in CA, but I have never seen anything this huge and colorful and bright. It looked so close!
