Remarks I saw a bright white flash in the night sky.

Remarks I saw a bright white flash in the night sky as I was driving along the Lough Shore road. I noticed it only because I was driving in the direction of the flash. The flash was brighter than any star in the sky at the time. It was larger than any star. The duration was very short. It flashed then was gone. The colour was pure white. There was not a tail of any kind.
