I have never seen anything like this in Ireland before, even shooting stars are rare. This was bright much brighter than the surrounding stars and the night is clear with a sky full of stars. It rose from right to left and curved across the skyline almost like fireworks but brighter and more intense. It was thick like a series of sparklers and moved quite slowly it must have taken 30 seconds to curve from the back of the house SE to the side of the house NW when I lost vision of it. It was truly remarkable.

Remarks
It was fragmented to begin with, a series of about 8 shooting star types of light all trailing into eachother, rising across the horizon in a curve
