It was a short event but it just flashed on about 50 degrees above the horizon and faded out just above the horizon. Very bright white..brighter than any star that’s for sure. As soon as it hit full brightness it went away. Really cool and wish I had a dash cam.

Remarks
It transitioned from a dim white to a bright white and then faded out quickly as it approached the horizon. It didn’t quite hit the horizon so I did see it until the end. Just turned off like a light bulb. Left a very short gray trail that dissipated quickly.
