| Remarks | I have never seen anything like this before. I have seen a few meteors before, but they were always much \"higher\" in the sky and they never appeared to be \"falling toward the earth.\" This started off as a white streak, which then gradually widened (resembling a slice of pizza or a triangle). As it widened... the leading edge became a very bright and vivid green, it was quite impressive. The entire event lasted no more than 1 second. I wish I could see it again. Hope this helps. |

| Remarks | I do not believe I saw any fragmentation, as the light/ball disappeared behind the Manhattan buildings (skyline). But toward the end (or what appeared to be the end), the color became a very bright and vivid green. |
