I was fortunate to be on this very tall on ramp that went over Interstate 95. I was facing North East. The dark sky was clear and its color was spectacular when it flashed to a green. I thought of a sparkling gem when I last saw it.

when the actual ball disappeared to where I couldn't see it anymore the tail lasted a second. From where I was it looked like a smoke trail with a little bit of color right where the ball was.
