| Remarks | Very bright pure white light with a short trail that appeared to descend with extreme velocity, very close to vertical, and strike Earth rather than cross the Horizon. We have observed many shooting stars and showers of shooting stars which appear to pass overhead(typically from North to South) from this location over a 16 year period, however we have never seen such an apparently close and/or large object fall vertically towards Earth\'s surface. Very impressive. |
