| Remarks | This isn't necessarily very accurate. I was rowing on the river when I saw the object, and there were no distinguishing landmarks on the horizon, so I've had to guess the angle. All of the guys in the boat saw the object but nobody was wearing a watch so the time is a guesstimate. Finally the object was seen through a layer of thin cloud so it's hard to know how bright it really was; it was certainly MUCH brighter than Venus, even through the cloud. |
