Remarks | I was right-hand front seat passenger in a car; this limited my upward field of view, since the meteor appeared about 40 degrees to the left of our driving direction. Also, I assume I would have been unable to hear any accompanying sounds. I was very lucky to be already looking in the right direction, since we were about to pass a smoking chimney from which smoke I was about to estimate the wind direction. |
