I'm not sure if what i saw was actually fireball due to my limited experience and knowledge of astronomy, however from what I read and researched this seems like the most likely explanation for what I saw. I would be interested in finding out if anyone else had witnessed the event.

The light was traveling in a ball-like shape then suddenly appeared to expand and disappear
