| Remarks | There were 4 of us in the automobile heading east on 288 (approx SSE on a compass for that portion of the road). I was driving and said "Hey, look a meteor straight ahead of us", it was white with a white tail, then seem to disappear for a fraction of a second, then reappeared with the orangeish-reddish color, maybe 1/3 of its length when white. Everyone saw it, lots of "oh, wow" comments. |
