Reports Report 4253m (Event 4253-2019)

Observer
Name Burt F
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Appeared from the east as I was driving south 135 nearing the Ohio river. At first sight it looked like a plane moving low and fast, grew brighter and larger, flickered then flashed with what appeared to be sparks just after passing directly in front of me. After the flash it got much smaller, yet had a “tail”, also seemed to go lower towards the ground before disappearing, I couldn’t tell if it dropped below horizon due to trees and that I was driving 60mph. I expected to hear some sort of impact sound off to the west, but I did not. I haven’t seen a shooting star so low and close that I was able to easily see “sparks” as it flared up. Awesome sight
