Reports Report 4160br (Event 4160-2019)

Observer
Name Cynthia J
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This meteor passed just over my car as I was on a security patrol. I had to lean forward in the seat to observe it overhead. Travelling so slow at first I thought it was a drone, but the light was too intense, the shape too irregular. I honestly couldn't figure out at first what it was. But when it disintegrated then I knew it had to be the tail end of a meteor. I doubt it was more than 200 meters above me. I could see too much detail of color, and even a darker core in the lower part of the flames. It wasn't large. The most beautiful green color I've ever seen. I don't know if there would have been any remnants. After it went to pieces the green flame disappeared and the coals only lasted a split second. They disappeared just above the earth, not far to the west of me.
