I live in a chalet in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains at an elevation of approximately 2000\'. The front of the chalet is three stories high with windows all the way to the peak of the cathedral ceiling. The object appeared in the top row of the windows near the peak of the cathedral ceiling and appeared to travel from the eastern sky toward the southern sky. It was a very brief sighting probably a second perhaps 2 at the most.
