Remarks I've seen a fireball once before but this one was really huge and slower than the last one I saw. Bright green with a slight orange & white tail - like something burning. I saw it while driving home on the highway so I'm not sure if I heard a sound from the meteor or just road noise. My time is approximate too since I didn't check the time right away. It started small and then got HUGE and then faded out quickly. It was a gradual growth and quick fade that lasted ~3 seconds. It got really close to the horizon for as large as it was. I was wondering if it would hit the ground that way but it faded out before getting that low. Really spectacular.
