I've seen quite a few fireballs and as a former member of Bays Mountain Astronomers I think I can say this was the best one I have seen in my life and I'm 68. i wish I had been on a mountain top here when it occurred. I was surprised it occurred this early in the evening since maybe leftovers from the Persied shower which was 2 days ago had not risen above the horizon for the best potential sightings. Awesome and very exciting experience.
