This was the most impressive fireball I have seen in this area. My vantage point was from atop a hillside in my front yard. The fireball changed colors from a bright orange to a flicker of reddish orange and fragmented into light yellow bits as it burned out. It did not leave my field of view during this time. Welcoming in the perseids!
