Remarks I was traveling west on the Western KY Parkway. It was approximately 6:00am. I am not sure of the time, but calculated by my beginning point and departure time and the fact that I had within the previous 15 minutes stopped at the Beaver Dam truck stop. Once I saw the "explosion" in my left peripheral vision, I began watching for an exit to have a bearing on my location. However a few miles passed with no exits so I decided to note the next mile marker which was 100. At this point, I may have passed my spotting of the bright light by 5 minutes or so traveling at 75 miles per hour. Unfortunately, that is the closest estimate I can give to my exact location. The light was halfway up my field of vision, moving toward the left (south or southwest) across the sky. It was a bright, light green with a medium green around the edges and ended with an orange color, the same as a camp fire, with a bursting sparkler effect at the tail only seconds before the entire ball disappeared.
