| Remarks | I saw the flash in my peripheral vision, looked over and the smoke trail was there. It was pretty straight up and down, and moved as an intact unit, with the wind (?), in a northerly direction, still vertical, until it disappeared behind mountain. It didn't dissipate in the minutes it was there. I took a couple of photos. it was back lit by the rising sun |
