| Remarks | I was gazing out my south-facing window around 11 p.m. and saw a green fireball streak across the view, left to right, and exclaimed about it to my partner, who unfortunately was face down on the bed next to me. I went to the window to look west to see if there was an explosion, but no. I saw the reports the next day and saw a video taken in NJ that had it going in the opposite direction, right to left, because they were south, and I said, "That's what I saw!" I have seen smaller white falling stars before, even ones that seemed to "touch down" in the area (burned up, I assume), but I have never seen anything like this. |
