It took up a large portion of the sky. Probably around the size of a football if I were to hold it up in front of me. I genuinely thought it was about to crash into the field up the street. The street lights flickered as it passed and we heard a low hum. I was having a fire in my backyard (facing the front yard) with 4 other people. They all saw the flash. I was the only one able to see the object in question and it’s trail as it passed before going behind a large poplar tree.
