Reports Report 3151sh (Event 3151-2019)

Observer
Name Dave M
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks A fellow ASH member and I were at the Naylor Observatory in south-central Pennsylvania last night. I was using the 17" classical Cassegrain in the French Dome and at one point noticed a flash of light through the shutter opening, which was set to the south. We both thought it was distant lightning since there had been some storms to the southwest earlier in the day and there were clouds in parts of the sky at the time. I now believe that it may have been a fireball lighting up the sky.
