We thought it was a firework but it was going straight across the sky instead of up and there was no sound. My daughter asked if it was a shooting star. It seemed very close and was incredibly bright with a tail. Then I discovered there were sightings in New England, so it makes sense it was a meteor. I tried my best with the mapping but found it difficult. We were walking away from Target towards Olive Garden. Hope this helps and very curious if anyone else reported! There were lots of people walking around.
