I checked a compass on my phone after the event. It appeared slightly north of me and moved west to east at about 90 degrees east.

I believe that there was a smaller concentrated glow at the leading edge and a bigger concentrated glow a short distance behind it. There was a trailing glow behind the two and also a wider glow than the two concentrated glows.
