It started with flashes of light like a transformer was blowing up, that's what got my attention. I thought maybe lightning but there weren't any storms. Then this awesome fireball came streaking across the sky. Amazing!

My hot tub jets were running, i thought I heard a noise like distant firecrackers, so I turned off the jets and maybe a minute or two after the fireball I heard a dull thud. Like a single distant thunderclap.
