Remarks Radiant originated from near Triangulum Australe. Timing is approximate as I was lying on the deck of a boat with no watch and estimated from position of moon and Crux. About half an hour later a similar fireball appeared moving from right to left, horizontal trajectory, radiant originated also near Triangulum Australe. Over the next hour or so, 3 ordinary meteors were seen appearing to originate from the same part of the sky.
