Reports Report 2409aj (Event 2409-2019)

Observer
Name Paul M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks 1. Did not see the meteor/fireball. Was not looking up at the time. It lit up the surroundings in a way the moon doesn't!!! Showed details I didn't know were there. Looked up (no shadows) to see a thick luminous trail fading fast. That is the report I gave, but real guesstimate, +/- 20%. No instruments. 2. Eyes were halfway adjusted. It is dark there, but not free of car headlights. (Sigh!) 3. Education BSEE. 4. If you want more info, query the night fishermen on the lake bridges. They were out in force. 5. I tried to enter the google coordinates. Your software wouldn't take them. Frustrating.
