Reports Report 2070jb (Event 2070-2019)

Observer
Name John B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Initially looked like a bright green firework. But then the trajectory and fragmentation made it obvious this was a meteor. News reports say it was seen in western Chicago suburbs Plano and Woodridge, but I was in Elk Grove Village and it went from roughly northeast to southeast over maybe 5-10 seconds. I am science-trained with some astronomy observing experience, but this was the first time in my life I saw a bolide. I did not hear any sounds within a few minutes of the fireball (I listened for noise).
