All I can say is I was amazed that there was no impact noise. I got a solid direction on it from my point of view as it passed behind my neighbour's house. I witnessed two Soviet satellites burn on re-entry back in the 1980s. This was nothing like it.

Remarks
The meteor fell in a near vertical direction with a slight lean east to west. It appeared to be quite close. The smoky trail seemed to dissipate quickly. I lost sight of it due to my neighbours house. I expected to hear it impact because it seemed that close. It's appearance bright was white in the middle, an almost rectangular shaped core surrounded by a greenish fire and trailing a whitish smoke. Both my wife and I saw it while standing in the side entrance of our house.
