| Remarks | The meteorite was huge. I would estimate it to be at least 1/4 the size of the moon. It was larger then any airplane I had ever seen. It moved quickly and shot down behind Taos Mountain. I had no idea what it was and went and told my husband, \"I think I just saw a UFO.\" I thought nothing more of it until I was listening to the news and heard others in New Mexico had reported seeing \"meteorites.\" It concerned me after I heard that because it was huge and I was thankful it didn\'t hit any homes, ect. It was very white in color. I saw it out the back sliding glass door of our home, which faces Taos Mountain. My husband says it is approximately 25 degrees north. |
