Remarks I wouldn't consider myself an astronomer by any means but for the last 3 decades I've tried to schedule my vacations around the metor showers. From Lyrids in April, Perseid in August, to Orionid in October or Geminid in Dec.. I absolutely love watching them. I've seen some pretty good ones too over the years, however this one, by far, was the most memorable. I'm still in awe over it (and it's been several hours now, since I observed what I did) So damn cool. Ain't gonna sleep much tonight.

Duration 1s
Length
Remarks sparkling, fireworks type glitter effect that trailed about 3-6" behind. whole thing lasted about 2-5 seconds but ended in flash/disintegrated in sparks. Absolutely amazing to watch. WOW!!!
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks originally caught it out of corner of my eye. Got real bright (almost instantaneously), lasted about 2-5sec. with a glitter trail and ending abruptly, like a skyrocket that goes off and has all the sparkles remaining (exactly like that). Awesome looking.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks only a couple pieces. sorta how the shuttle Columbia looked when it broke apart on re-entry, (sorry, the only way I could accurately describe it)
