Remarks My wife and I were driving home, only a couple hundred yards from our house. It was actually passing over a house, crossed the road, and almost hit the trees on the other side. My wife and I were in awe. It literally was directly in front of us, only tree height above my front windshield. Immediately after seeing this travel in front of us, I am certain that it was on a crash landing trajectory on the wooded property across street from the house it passed over, and I was waiting to see a larger flash from impact, and large impact noise. However, there was no impact flash, and no impact sound. However, my wife and I are CERTAIN that this fireball landed on that property. Again, it almost hit the treetops, and was on a visible trajectory such that is was about to touchdown. We initially thought people on the property where it must have landed, were using fireworks, a drone, or some kind of RC toy that had bright LED lights. However, we immediately stopped in the middle of the road, and there was no activity, movement, or action that we could see inside the wooded property. We are CERTAIN that whatever this was, touched down in that immediate area. If this was a fireball (is that a meteorite?), I am surprised at how slow it was moving, I would have thought it would be traveling extremely fast, but it wasn't. I would estimate the size of it was a bit smaller than a basketball, it looked like bright green/blue ball of fire, with a dissipating tail to it, which is why we initially thought it was fireworks. It was very lovely, actually.
