I've seen a lot of fireworks and this wasn't one of them. The angle was too ridiculous for the height in the sky and the speed was too fast.

Caught an explosion out of the corner of my eye over a ranch that isn't used and a trail of bright fragments behind it and they lasted just about 1 second following the fireball
