| Remarks | Truthful, it might not have been a meteor but I was struck by the rate at which it transited the sky from roughly west to east, seemingly far faster than an aircraft, As I recall the Sun was rising but not yet above the horizon and the object was roughly backlit by the Sun so I don't see how it could have appear to be so bright due to reflected light. I tried to judge the distance to the object as that would affect my perception of the object's velocity but could not - I was also driving at the time. |
